How Does Using Recycled Paper Help Our Environment?

Here are the reasons:

Recycled Paper uses less Fossil Fuels to make the new paper. Producing  Recycled Papers use BioGas. Biogas reduces one of our mills, Rolland,  their Carbon Dioxide emissions by 70,000 tons annually, which is equivalent to 23,400 emissions from compact cars. The BioGas comes from Landfills.

BioGas is mainly Carbon Dioxide and Methane (CH). When Methane is burned to produce steam for papermaking, it becomes CO2, which is 21 times less harmful to the atmosphere.

Making Recycled Paper uses less water.

Corporate Responsibility is on the rise. Being Eco Friendly and being labeled a Green Business is important to reaching Net Zero Waste. Stockholders watch the Environmental Sustainability of the firms they invest in.

If a mill produces 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper and bleaches this paper with Oxygen or Hydrogen Peroxide, no Dioxin is produced. Dioxin will poison our fish, wildlife, and us as it is a deadly poison.

And, saving our trees, is crucial to offsetting carbon emissions.

Recycled paper is as good, print and quality-wise, as tree paper.
