Advice on paper, specifications and cost for your print project
A print consultation is a conversation with Greg Barber about your project. He can help you choose a recycled paper, review your specifications and look for ways to reduce waste and cost.

Topics we can cover
Paper selection
Recycled papers are not all the same. Coated sheets work well for photography, while uncoated sheets suit letterpress and a more natural look. We can recommend the papers that fit your piece.
Cost engineering
Paper is produced in standard sheet sizes. Adjusting the size of a piece so it fits the press sheet more efficiently can reduce both waste and cost.
Spec review
We can review your artwork before it goes to press, including resolution, bleeds, folds, binding and finishes, to help avoid problems that would require a reprint.
Certifications and claims
If you plan to use an FSC mark or a recycled content label on your piece, there are rules about what you can claim. We can explain what your chosen paper allows you to state.
Three steps
Greg Barber has sourced recycled paper since 1990 and can help you plan your job before you request a quote.
