Printing for Golf Courses and Country Clubs
Scorecards, tournament signs, menus, napkins and event stationery for golf courses, country clubs and charity golf tournaments.
Eco Friendly Printer prints for golf courses, country clubs and the committees that run charity golf tournaments. Typical orders include scorecards, tee and hole sponsor signs, clubhouse menus, printed napkins, table cards and invitations for member events and weddings at the club.
When you call, you talk to Greg Barber. He helps you choose the paper and sizes, checks your files and sends a proof before anything is printed. Send your event date with your quote request so the schedule can be planned around it.
The pieces we print most for them
All on recycled, FSC-certified stock with soy-based inks. Nothing here has a shopping cart, tell us what you need and we will price it.
What golf courses and country clubs order
Most clubs need two kinds of printing: everyday pieces for the course and the clubhouse, and event pieces for tournaments, member dinners and weddings. Both can be printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks, and Greg can tell you which pieces need a different material.
On the course
Custom golf scorecards are printed on uncoated stock that takes a pencil, in single, bifold or trifold layouts with your yardages, handicaps and local rules. For tournaments, we print tee and hole sponsor signs, cart signs, closest to the pin and longest drive signs, and leaderboards. Yard signs and A-frame signs work for parking, registration and directions.
In the clubhouse
The dining room uses menus, table tents and table cards. The bar uses coasters and printed napkins with the club logo. The pro shop and front desk use gift certificates, rack cards and letterhead and envelopes.
Tournaments and member events
A charity tournament usually needs invitations or save the date postcards, sponsor signs, a step and repeat backdrop for photos, dinner and raffle tickets, award certificates and place cards for the awards dinner. Sponsor signs printed without the year can often be used again the following season, which saves money and material.
Weddings at the club
Clubs that host weddings can refer couples to us for invitations, programs, table numbers, napkins and signs. See weddings and celebrations for the full list.
Timing
Most orders take one to two weeks from artwork approval, and event work is usually about two weeks. For a tournament, send the date, the number of holes with sponsors and the sponsor logos as early as you can, since logos often arrive last.
Questions from golf courses and clubs
What paper is best for golf scorecards?
An uncoated cover stock, because pencils do not write well on glossy coated paper. For cards that need to survive rain or a wet cart, ask about waterproof stone paper.
What size are tee sponsor signs?
18 x 24 inches is the most common size for tee and hole sponsor signs. We also print smaller cart signs and larger signs for the first tee and the clubhouse.
Can we reuse our sponsor signs next year?
Often, yes. If the signs show the sponsor logo and hole number without the year or event name, they can go back out the following season. Reusable stakes help too.
Do you print for weddings and member events at the club?
Yes. We print invitations, menus, place cards, table numbers, napkins and signs for weddings, dinners and member events.
