Golf Tournament and Sponsor Signs
Tee and hole sponsor signs, cart signs, contest signs and welcome banners for golf tournaments and charity outings.

Details
Eco Friendly Printer prints signs for golf tournaments, charity outings, corporate golf days and club championships. Most tournaments need sponsor signs on the tees, signs for the contests, signs on the carts and a banner at registration, and we can print all of them together so the colors and logos match.
Signs we print for tournaments
- Tee and hole sponsor signs
- Golf cart signs with player names or sponsor logos
- Closest to the pin, longest drive and hole in one contest signs
- Welcome and registration banners
- Leaderboards and pairings boards
- Directional signs for parking, registration and the awards dinner
- Step and repeat backdrops for photos
Sizes
Tee and hole sponsor signs are most often 18 x 24 in, set on wire stakes at the tee box. Larger 24 x 36 in signs suit the first tee, the clubhouse and title sponsors. Golf cart signs are usually about 8.5 x 11 in or 11 x 17 in, sized to fit the cart's sign holder. Leaderboards and pairings boards are often 24 x 36 in or larger on rigid board for an easel. Our yard sign size guide covers reading distance and letter height.
Materials
Most golf signs are printed on corrugated plastic because it handles sprinklers and morning dew. For a one-day event, we can print on paper-based recycled corrugated board instead, and for leaderboards and clubhouse signs we recommend eco board, a rigid board with no plastic. Cart signs can be printed on heavy card stock or a water-resistant material. Tell us whether the signs will be out for one day or the whole season, and Greg will recommend a material.
Designing signs that can be used again
Sponsor signs that show only the sponsor logo and the hole number can often go back out the following year. Put the event name and year on the welcome banner and the program instead. Wire stakes can be pulled out and used again for new signs. This saves money for tournament committees and keeps a full set of signs out of the trash.
How ordering works
Send the tournament date, the number of sponsored holes, the sponsor logos and any other signs you need. You can start your order online. You will talk with Greg directly. He will set up the sponsor logos in a matching layout, check that each logo is large enough to print well, and send proofs of every sign before anything is printed. For the rest of the event, see golf scorecards, step and repeat banners, foam board signs and event and raffle tickets.
Common questions about golf tournament signs
What size are tee sponsor signs?
18 x 24 inches is the most common size. Title sponsor and first tee signs are often 24 x 36 inches.
How early should we order tournament signs?
About two weeks before the event is typical. Sponsor logos often arrive last, so send the ones you have and the final count of holes as early as you can.
Can the signs be used again next year?
Yes, if the design leaves off the date and event name. Many tournaments reuse hole sponsor signs for returning sponsors.
Do the signs come with stakes?
Ask about wire stakes when you request a quote. Stakes can be reused from one event to the next.
