Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of this website and the quotes, orders and print work that follow from it. They are deliberately short. Anything specific to your job, quantity, stock, price, schedule, lives in the written quote we send you, and that quote governs where the two differ.

Using this site

You are welcome to read, print and share pages from this site for your own purposes. Content, images and page design remain ours unless credited otherwise. Please do not republish substantial parts of it as your own.

Quotes and orders

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell at a stated price. There is no checkout here: prices depend on quantity, size, stock, ink coverage and finishing, and are given in a written quote.

A quote is valid for the period stated on it. A job becomes an order when you approve the quote and, where applicable, the proof. Once artwork is approved and the job is on press, it cannot usually be changed or canceled without cost.

Your artwork

You are responsible for having the right to print what you send us, images, fonts, logos, text and any third-party material in your files. By sending us artwork you confirm you hold those rights, and you agree to cover us against claims that you did not.

Please check proofs carefully. Once you approve a proof, the content of the job is on you: we print what was approved.

Color, stock and variation

Recycled and uncoated papers vary between mill runs in shade and texture, and screens do not reproduce printed color exactly. Reasonable variation of this kind is a feature of the material, not a defect. If exact color matters to your job, ask us for a physical proof before the run.

Schedules

Turnaround times quoted are estimates and start from artwork approval, not from the inquiry. We take deadlines seriously and will tell you up front if a date is not achievable. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers or by events outside our control.

If something goes wrong

If a job arrives damaged, short, or not as specified, tell us promptly and we will put it right, reprint, replacement or credit, depending on what makes sense. Our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit or missed events.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. Deposits may be required on larger or custom jobs.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you approve a quote are the ones that apply to that job.
