Eco Friendly Corporate Holiday Cards

Eco Friendly Printer prints custom holiday cards for businesses, nonprofits and families on recycled paper with soy-based inks, with matching recycled envelopes. Companies send them to thank clients, vendors and staff at the end of the year, and many choose recycled paper because it matches how they already describe their business.

Card formats

• Folded cards with a printed or blank inside, in A2, A6, A7 and square sizes
• Flat cards printed on one or both sides, which cost less and can be mailed as postcards
• Plantable seed paper cards for a simple design that people can plant in the spring

Sizes

A6, which folds to 4.5 x 6.25 in, is the most economical size we print because four cards fit on each press sheet. A7 (5 x 7 in) gives more room for a photo or a longer message. Square cards stand out in the mail, but in the US they need extra postage.

Paper and finishes

Card stocks include 80lb and 100lb cover, 110lb cotton and Neenah Royal Sundance Felt. Recycled content ranges from 30% to 100% post-consumer waste depending on the sheet. Foil stamping, letterpress, blind debossing and deckle edges are all available. Foil gives a card a holiday look, and we usually suggest keeping it to the logo or the greeting so the card stays easy to recycle.

Envelopes and addressing

Holiday card orders come with matching recycled envelopes in white, natural or kraft. Envelopes can be printed with your return address or logo. If you send your mailing list as an Excel file, we can also print each name and address directly on the envelopes, which saves hours of hand addressing.

The inside message

The inside can be printed with your greeting and company name, or left blank for handwritten notes. Many companies print the greeting and leave space for each person to sign. If you plan to sign by hand, an uncoated stock is easiest to write on.

When to order

Most holiday card orders are ready in one to two weeks from artwork approval. Leave time for proofs and for the mail, which is slower in December. Ordering in early to mid November is a good target if you want cards to arrive before the holidays. Cards sent for the new year can go out in early January.

Send your artwork, or your logo and message if you need help with the design, along with the size and quantity. We will confirm the paper, the envelopes and a price before anything is printed. How far ahead should we order holiday cards?

Can you print holiday cards on seed paper?

Yes. We print plantable seed paper cards. They work best with simple designs and bold type.

Can our logo go on the back of the card?

Yes. Many companies print their logo and website on the back, along with a recycled paper emblem.
