Details

Eco Friendly Printer prints rack cards on recycled cover stock with soy-based inks. Rack cards are the tall, narrow cards you see in hotel lobbies, visitor centers, restaurants, real estate offices and shop counters. They give a quick summary of a business, attraction or event, and visitors take them with them.

Sizes

  • 4 x 9 in, the standard size for brochure racks
  • 3.5 x 8.5 in, a slightly smaller card that fits most of the same racks
  • Custom sizes for your own display

Paper and finishes

Rack cards need to stand upright in a rack and survive handling, so we print them on 14pt or 16pt recycled cover or a heavy 100lb to 130lb cover. Uncoated and matte finishes are easy to read under lobby lighting, and satin aqueous adds a little more color depth for photos.

What to put on a rack card

Use the top third of the front for your name and a strong image, because that is the part people see when the card sits in a rack. Put hours, a map, prices or a QR code on the back. Hotels and visitor centers in St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach and the Jacksonville beaches use rack cards to point visitors to restaurants, tours and shops.

For folded pieces with more room, see brochures. For displays that hold your cards, see in-store displays. For mailers, see postcards.
