What it is and what it suits
Tango is a coated paperboard made by Smurfit Westrock. It is a solid bleached sulfate (SBS) board, coated on one side, with a bright, smooth white printing surface. We use 18 pt Tango for jobs that need a thick, stiff card with sharp color.
What we print on Tango 18 pt
How Tango fits our standards
Tango is made mostly from new fiber rather than recycled paper. Smurfit Westrock's North American mills are certified to FSC, SFI and PEFC chain of custody standards, and the mill states that all Tango paperboards are recyclable. When a job needs the stiffness and bright surface of a coated board, Tango is the sheet we recommend. For the lowest impact, choose one of our 100% post-consumer recycled papers.
How thick is 18 pt?
18 pt is 0.018 inches thick, noticeably heavier than a standard 14 pt business card.
