Custom Car Magnets for Business Vehicles
Custom car magnets for business vehicles, printed in full color on outdoor magnetic sheeting in standard and custom sizes.

Details
Eco Friendly Printer prints custom car magnets for contractors, cleaners, real estate agents, caterers, delivery services and other businesses that use their own vehicles for work. A magnet puts your name, phone number and website on the door of a car, truck or van, and it comes off when you use the vehicle for personal driving or sell it.
What we print car magnets for
- Company names and logos on service vans and trucks
- Real estate agent and brokerage signs
- Delivery and catering vehicles
- Temporary signs for events, campaigns and promotions
- Matching magnets for a whole fleet
Sizes and shapes
The most common sizes are 12 x 18 in, 12 x 24 in and 18 x 24 in. Measure the flat part of the door before you choose a size, and leave room around body lines, handles and trim, because a magnet needs to sit flat on the panel to hold. Magnets are cut with rounded corners, which helps them stay down at highway speed. We also cut custom sizes and shapes, such as a logo outline or a smaller magnet for a tailgate.
Material
Car magnets are printed in full color on flexible magnetic sheeting made for vehicles. A magnet only sticks to steel, so check the panel with a household magnet first. Many newer trucks have aluminum doors or tailgates, and fiberglass and plastic panels will not hold a magnet either.
How the eco choices apply to car magnets
Magnetic sheeting is not a recycled paper product, and it cannot go in paper recycling. We print car magnets because many of our clients need vehicle signs, and Greg prints on other materials when a job calls for it. The lower-impact choice is a magnet that lasts. A magnet that is cleaned and stored properly can stay in use for years, and keeping dates and promotions off the design means you do not need to reprint it when an offer ends.
Caring for a car magnet
Take the magnet off about once a week, wipe the panel and the back of the magnet, and let both dry before putting it back. This keeps dirt and moisture from getting trapped underneath. Remove magnets before a car wash. Store them flat, or rolled with the printed side out, and never folded. Do not put a magnet on a newly painted vehicle until the paint has fully cured.
How ordering works
Send your logo, the text you want and the size of the door panel, or a photo of the vehicle. You can start your order online. You will talk with Greg directly. He will check the size against your vehicle, set up the layout so it reads from a distance, and send a proof before anything is printed. For other outdoor signs, see yard signs, A-frame signs and signs and banners. Our banner size guide has a rule of thumb for letter height and reading distance that also applies to vehicle signs.
Common questions about car magnets
Will a car magnet stick to my truck?
It will stick to any flat steel panel. Many newer trucks have aluminum doors, and magnets do not stick to aluminum, fiberglass or plastic. Test the panel with a household magnet before you order.
Will a car magnet damage my paint?
Not if you take it off regularly and clean under it. Problems usually come from dirt and moisture trapped under a magnet that has been left on for months.
What size car magnet should I get?
12 x 18 inches and 12 x 24 inches fit the doors of most cars and SUVs. 18 x 24 inches suits larger trucks and vans. Measure the flat area of the door first.
Can I go through a car wash with a magnet on?
No. Take magnets off before a car wash.
