• Poker size, 2.5 x 3.5 in, the standard playing card size
• Bridge size, 2.25 x 3.5 in, a narrower card that is easier to hold in a large hand
• Tarot size, 2.75 x 4.75 in, for oracle and tarot decks
• Mini cards, 1.75 x 2.5 in, for travel decks and favors
• Custom sizes for game cards

A standard deck has 52 cards plus jokers, but custom decks can have any number of cards. Game designers often print 18, 36 or 54 cards per deck depending on the game.

Card stock and finishes

Playing cards need a stock that shuffles smoothly and does not show the card through the back. We print on playing card stock with a smooth or linen finish and round the corners so the cards handle well. Tuck boxes are printed on recycled board, and a printed paper band can replace plastic shrink wrap. If recycled card stock matters for your project, tell us how the cards will be used and we will recommend the most sustainable stock that still plays well.
