90th Birthday Family Recipe Cookbook
For a 90th birthday, the guest of honor chose 90 of her favorite family recipes to collect in one book for her children and grandchildren. We printed the cover and pages and finished the book with a coil binding, so it lies flat on the kitchen counter while someone cooks from it.

About this job
The book opens with a dedication to the family and a short greeting from the author, followed by her recipes and a page of kitchen tips. The cover carries a simple 90 emblem in green, and the same emblem is repeated in black on the title page.
A coil binding was the practical choice for a cookbook. The pages turn all the way around and the book stays open on the counter without being held. Family cookbooks like this one are also a good fit for short runs, since one printing covers every household in the family with a few spare copies.
If you are planning a family or fundraising cookbook, see cookbook printing for paper, binding and file setup.
