Details

Eco Friendly Printer prints custom booklets on recycled paper with soy-based inks. Booklets suit any piece with more pages than a brochure: event programs, product catalogs, lookbooks, training manuals, menus, member guides, workbooks and coupon books.

Sizes

  • 4.25 x 5.5 in mini booklets and coupon books
  • 5.5 x 8.5 in, the most common booklet size
  • 6 x 9 in
  • 8.5 x 11 in for catalogs, reports and manuals
  • Landscape and custom sizes

Binding

  • Saddle stitch: folded pages stapled through the spine. The most economical binding for booklets of about 8 to 64 pages.
  • Perfect binding: pages glued into a wraparound cover with a square spine, for thicker booklets and catalogs.
  • Wire-O and spiral binding: the booklet opens completely flat, which suits manuals, workbooks and recipe books.

Our guide to saddle stitch vs perfect binding explains which binding suits your page count.

Coupon booklets

Coupon booklets are usually small, saddle-stitched or padded, with perforations so each coupon tears out cleanly. Coupons can be numbered for tracking. They suit restaurants, local shops, fundraisers and community discount books.

Paper

Choose coated recycled stock for photography and catalogs, or uncoated stock for text-heavy booklets and anything people write in. A heavier cover stock protects the booklet and gives it a finished feel. Our paper weight guide explains text and cover weights.

For folded pieces, see brochures. For longer documents, see annual reports, newsletters and book printing.

Common questions about booklet printing

How many pages can a booklet have?

Saddle-stitched booklets usually run from 8 to about 64 pages in multiples of four. Perfect-bound and spiral-bound booklets can be much thicker.

What is the most common booklet size?

5.5 x 8.5 inches, which is a letter sheet folded in half.

Can coupons in a booklet be perforated and numbered?

Yes. Coupon pages can be perforated so each coupon tears out, and numbered for tracking.
