Funeral Programs and Memorial Cards on Recycled Paper
Funeral and memorial service programs, prayer cards and bookmarks on recycled paper, with photo layouts and a proof checked with the family.

Details
Eco Friendly Printer prints funeral programs, memorial service programs, prayer cards and memorial bookmarks for families, funeral homes, churches and celebration of life gatherings. We print on recycled paper with soy-based inks, and every program is proofed with the family before it is printed.
What we print
- Folded funeral and memorial programs
- Booklet programs for longer services
- Prayer cards and memorial cards
- Memorial bookmarks
- Thank you and acknowledgment cards for the family to send afterward
- Photo enlargements on an easel for the service
Formats and sizes
The most common format is a letter-size sheet folded in half, which gives four panels at 5.5 x 8.5 in. A tabloid sheet folded in half gives four larger panels at 8.5 x 11 in, with more room for photos. Longer programs can be printed as a stapled booklet. Prayer cards are usually wallet size, about 2.75 x 4.25 in, and memorial bookmarks are usually 2 x 6 in.
What to include
Most programs include the person's full name, a photo, the dates of birth and death, and the date, time and place of the service. Inside, families usually list the order of service, readings, songs and the names of the officiant and pallbearers, followed by a short obituary or tribute. Many add a poem, a verse or a page of photos, and a note thanking guests with details of any gathering after the service.
Timing
Services are often planned within a few days, so call as soon as you know the date. Tell us the date of the service and how many programs you need, and we will tell you what timing is possible before you send anything. Having the photo and the final wording ready helps the most.
Paper
Programs with photos print best on a smooth recycled stock such as Astrolite PC 100 or Sustana Enviro. A heavier text weight folds cleanly and feels substantial without being stiff. Prayer cards and bookmarks are printed on cover stock so they hold up when kept in a wallet or a book.
How ordering works
Send the photo, the wording and the number of programs, or a program you would like us to follow. You can start your order online or call. You will talk with Greg directly. He will help with the layout, check the photo, and send a proof so the family can confirm every name, date and spelling before anything is printed. For larger photo displays, see easel back prints. For cards to send afterward, see notecards and envelopes.
Common questions about funeral programs
What size is a funeral program?
The most common program is a letter-size sheet folded in half, which makes four 5.5 x 8.5 inch panels. A larger 8.5 x 11 inch folded program gives more room for photos.
How quickly can funeral programs be printed?
It depends on the date of the service and the quantity. Call with the date as soon as you know it, and we will tell you what is possible.
Can you use a photo from a phone?
Often, yes. Send the original file rather than a screenshot, and Greg will let you know whether it is large enough to print well.
How many programs should we print?
Plan for one program for each expected guest, plus 10 to 20 extra for late arrivals and for family members who want to keep copies.
